This section holds my work done partly during the courses on computer graphics by Elmar Schoemer but mostly out of private interest. The graphics APIs used are OpenGL (vanilla - fixed function pipeline) as well as DirectX 9/10 especially for shader authoring. Shaders were authored with NVIDIA FX Composer and AMD Rendermonkey.. FX Composer is an excellent, free and state-of-the-art shader authoring environment while Rendermonkey is much easier to get a grip on first - but it is outdated, since it does only support shader model up to 3.0 |
