Interests
mathematical concepts, logic, modelling, philosophical aspects, computer games, electronic sound synthesis, music, arts knowledge Since I studied physics, I have gained knowledge in various different fields of physics and mathematics: quantum optics / quantum information theory, light-atom interaction, photonics, quantum field theory, solid state physics, statistical physics, molecular dynamics simulation, Monte-Carlo simulation, soft matter theory, and the usual mathematical knowledge of a physicist like linear algebra, function theory, differential equations and so on. I have always been very interested in computers and programming in general: computer graphics, OpenGL, DirectX 10, ray tracing, rasterisation, programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, PHP, m68k assembly, CUDA, shader languages ), game engines, operating systems (UNIX, GNU/Linux), graphical user interfaces (wxWidgets, Qt), LaTeX, GNU toolchains, computer algebra systems, image processing, interpreters, graphics hardware
